Sharing & Posting on Facebook – Make the Posts your Own
Important: Make the posts your own.
Copy the image from the Facebook original post, along with the key text, and a link to the original post, page or article – you get the long-term credit, whilst still crediting the original. There is little long-term advantage in just sharing.
Example 1
This image shows the result when I share a post I’ve made on a page to my own timeline, and share it from there to another page.
Note that the credit remains to the original poster, in this case Dead Lenins Society.
Example 2
This image is the result of sharing a shared post from the sharer’s page to my own timeline, and then sharing it from there to another site. All mention of the sharer is lost, as the link goes to the original poster. (Great phraseology, right. Not at all confusing!)
