Operation Just Cause (Invasion of Panama)
Operation Just Cause was the name given to a military operation
by the United States of America which involved an invasion of Panama to
capture Panamanian leader Manuel Noriega in December 1989 - January 1990.
24,000 US troops took part in the operation. Noriega was brought to the
USA to face charges of drug trafficking, racketeering, and money laundering.
