The owner, a well known Ducati enthusiast and winner of the '91 Gassit lookalike contest, spends his days during work release at Sydney Motorcycle Wreckers & Sheltered Workshop.This superbly crafted full-scale model is the result of thousands of hours work, several gallons of Perkins Paste, two dozen cans of Maori chrome and a full square mile of virgin rainforest.
For years the nurses were perplexed by the smell of sulphur emanating from his quarters. He would grin evily at them and claim to have had another visit from his dad, which wasn't far from the truth as in fact his dear old mum was smuggling a few boxes of Redheads in her knickers each visit.
