Password Storage and Security / Passwords
Password Agent Lite

I’ve been using this program for many years – possibly a decade.
Bulletproof. Use one password which is easy to remember, keep all your important passwords in one place, copy the program and the database to a USB stick and keep it in your travel bag.
I use a password like year and month of birth + rego of favourite vehicle or name of favourite aunt in the format 1909Year1965XYZ. That’s actually fairly difficult to crack, but really easy to remember. Adding a non-ASCII character improves security many times over, so it could be for instance 1909Year65XYZ! or 1909Y#65XYZ.
I use it for bank accounts, Google accounts, website passwords, key email addresses…
The free version is probably all you’ll ever need, the paid version is inexpensive.
When using it on desktops and laptops, I keep the database and the program in a folder like c:/portable/security
