Wemyss auction of veteran, vintage and collectors' motor vehicles at the historic Hyde Park Barracks in Macquarie Street, Sydney on Australia Day features a remarkable group of beautifully restored motor cars covering nine decades of motoring history.

Timed to coincide with the Sydney NRMA Motorfest, which draws large crowds of enthusiasts the viewing will be open from Sunday 23nd January through until Australia Day.

Included in the sale is a rare 1927 Lancia Lambda 7th Series LWB Seven Seat Tourer which is estimated to bring $65,000/75,000, and a 1928 Lombard AL3 1100cc Supercharged Competition Roadster ($180,000/190,000).  A 1929 Stutz Black Hawk Drophead Coupe estimated at $95,000/100,000 is expected to draw international attention as one of only 12 built.

From stylish French 1950s Peugeots to a 1981 Rolls-Royce Silver Spirit Saloon, there is something for every driver's taste, including a 1954 ex-vice regal Rolls-Royce Silver Wraith.

A striking 1958 Messerschmitt KR 200 Micro car will also be offered at $10,000/11,000, alongside a selection of Motor Cycles and Scooters including a rare 1950s GS Vespa. The vehicle auction will be preceded by a selection of collectors' automobilia.
