My grandfather's birth certificate shows his father, WALTER HENRY LEWIS, as being born on Sweers Island in 1882. Do you by chance have any information on those who lived on Sweers at this time? Most of what I have read online (including Peter's wonderful history) suggests that most non-Indigenous people have moved off Sweers by this time, and I'm having trouble finding any information about the circumstances of my great grandfather's birth. Appreciate any advice or pointers you may have. Cheers, Wade
